A lovely place, small and compact apartment but very clean, comfy and well equipped. Very welcoming hosts who were keen to ensure everything was ok and happy to help with any issues. Lovely and quiet even though it is next to the main road (apart from the occasional crazy motorbikes who thought it was a racetrack!)
Lovely 4 night break
We have just returned from a 4 night break at Barn Owl Lodge. The owners John and Sue have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The lodge we stayed in was beautifully furnished and lovely and clean. Personally I would have preferred a little more space as in a separate bedroom for the living area as one of us is a light sleeper and the other likes a lie in. This in no way detracts from the experience, we have been visiting Corton for a number of years and 2 or 3 times a year and this was the first time we stayed here. We would return but probably in a different lodge number. we stayed in Lodge 3. Maybe 4 or 5 would be a bit better for us.

Clean, comfortable, friendly couple. Being disabled everything was on ground level so it made my stay even better. Close to lowestoft, gorleston, gt Yarmouth. Thanks for providing everything for a wonderful holiday. Walter & Shirley.
Superb accommodation in a delightful setting
Spotlessly clean superbly equipped lodge. Bathroom faultless, bed comfy and will definitely return. Also had to work whilst there and free fast WiFi was an added bobus

We spent a very enjoyable two days at Barn Owl Lodge. Excellent accommodation, very high spec., in a convenient location. Highly recommended.
Fabulous 2 night stay
Spotlessly clean on arrival ! High spec decorated throughout . Great friendly owners that live within grounds of the property. Nice to have the kitchen if you wanted to cook . I would Definitely would book again, but directly with owners through their website much cheaper!
Great little find
It honestly would be hard to fault this place. It’s really well thought out. There’s ample parking. The rooms are generous and well planned. I’ve had smaller kitchens In full house rentals. There were lots of extra features. Quality kitchen utensils and dishes. The living room/ bed area felt spacious and the bed was really comfy and the bedding felt quality. The bathroom was a delight and felt luxurious. I Appreciated the fridge and lots of counter space. Although the accommodation is next to the dual carriage way, with the window open I couldn’t hear it. Ok I’d add hooks to the back of bathroom door and I’d appreciate the owners picking up there dog poo from the communal lawn as they let there dogs out unattended, and the window blinds need replacing as there hard to open and close. But all in all I was most impressed with the place.

A simply superb place to stay. I stayed here for 3 nights for work and i can honestly say it was perfect. The rooms are exquisite, beds are comfy with lovely clean bedding, the rooms have everything you need for an overnight stay. The hosts are lovely people who work incredibly hard to ensure there customers are satisfied with there stay.Room 10/10 Customer service 10/10 Amenities in rooms 10/10 Value for money 10/10A truly great place to stay

Amazing peaceful stay. Great room and great location. Would definitely book again. Never been to this area before and they and the place left a great impression. Loads of parking and loads of greenery right on your doorstep. John and his wife were lovely and very helpful also.
A wonderful home from home.
Thus was our second stay at the Barn Owl Lodge. We love it. It is the most fabulous, immaculately clean, delightful home from home. It has everything you could possible need to make nights away from home just heavenly. A wonderful place, John and his wife are delightful and make us feel so welcome every time we come.Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Would recommend Barn Owl Lodge to anyone needing accommodation in this area, far better than many hotels I've stayed in ,not only the high standards of the rooms,which include self catering facilities...I've stayed here various times now, and have got to know the owners on first name terms due to their helpful and very friendly attitude.. highly recommend a stay here..
The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us and made us feel very at home during our stay. Some stand out points are that the rooms are clean and cosy, the bedding and towels are comfortable and of high quality. The space is well equipped with modern fittings throughout and there’s everything you need in the kitchen for an extended stay. The location is good for easy access to Lowestoft or Great Yarmouth. Would definitely stay again!!!
Stayed at these lodges for an extended stay of 5 weeks for work. The rooms were very nice, great view, well maintained, modern amenities, fully furnished with all the basic needs of a comfortable stay at a reasonable price. There is laundry service upon request. A supermarket is minutes from the lodge, as well as meals from UberEats or delivery if required. The owners are very friendly, and overall the experience was excellent. I look forward to a future visit to the area.
Beautiful Lodge
I cannot recommend Barn Owl Lodge highly enough. My wife and I stayed for a few days having flown to the UK for a family funeral. The lodge itself was gorgeous - beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. However, what really makes Barn Owl Lodge is the people - John and Sue were exceptional hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. They were so kind and thoughtful at a very sad time for us, for which we will be forever grateful.

Great location to access Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, oulton broad and nearby villages. Ample parking. Comfortable self catering accommodation. Reasonably priced. Ideal for singles and couples. John and Sue are onsite and extremely helpful.

First class, had the pleasure of staying hear for the bank holiday weekend, lovely clean and well equipped room with kitchen fully kitted out, tea & milk on arrival, fresh clean bed linen and towels provided, tv & WiFi, Great place to stay with local attractions close by, great to see the truckers convoy drive by aswell, Great hosts only a call or text away also kept us updated with what was going on, highly recommend,would stay again Thank you for a very pleasant stay

Excellent one bed lodge. Spotlessly clean and well appointed with appliances. Very convenient road links. Adjacent to dual carriageway that was not unduly noisy. Plenty of parking allowing sufficient room between cars to reduce the possibility of damage. Would stay again.

Great Stay
A lovely room, well equipped and with everything I needed for my stay. The room is very clean with great WiFi and full kitchen facilities. The bed is very comfortable and I felt at home which is just what I needed.The host made me feel very welcome and I'd definitely come back again.

Lodge room was excellent, like a very good hotel with a kitchen. Owners went to a great deal of trouble to ensure we were made to feel welcome. High quality equipment and fittings. Also care taken to ensure the little things like tea/coffee, milk and biscuits were in room on arrival. We would certainly look at staying again when in the area.

A great base for exploring the Norfolk/Suffolk coast
I had an excellent week staying in Barn Owl Lodge, and the accommodation was perfect for my needs. Comfortable, clean and very well equipped; it was also peaceful and quiet, despite being close to a major road. I was with a group who were exploring the Norfolk/Suffolk coast, and this is a perfect location for that purpose. If we return to the areas, I would have absolutely no hesitation in staying here again.

Perfect for what we needed
Perfect self contained unit ideal for a short break. Clean, comfortable and fully equipped. Friendly owners. Located next to the A47 for good travel access. We used it when visiting relatives who lived nearby. Highly likely to use again in similar circumstances.

I have stayed at the lodges on multiple occasions, where I am always met with a warm welcome. The owners maintain high standards within the lodges and it’s grounds and are always happy to help make your stay a good one.The rooms are very clean, fresh, spacious and well equipped, with free on site parking and easy access. The photos on their website and booking sites are a true representation of the accommodation and other reviews mirror the positive experience I have whilst staying here.In summary, it is a delight to stay at the Barn Owl Lodge, which I would highly recommend.Thanks for accommodating me and I look forward to the next time I visit.

Excellent place to stay. All very modern inside. The owners are super helpful. There's is a dual carriageway quite near the lodges but that didn't bother us. We'll definitely stay at the lodge again.

Superb accommodation and very easy access. Modern, bright, private. Well laid out apartments with everything you need to cook, work or just relax. Lots of public footpaths right from the property to take advantage of the countryside when you're done working. No shops within reasonable walking distance so make sure you have everything you need before you crack the wine open.

Cracking little lodges, great hosts and location is spot on. Situated directly between Yarmouth and lowestoft. We stayed for 2 nights and would have stayed for a 3rd if they wasn't fully booked up. John and his family were really nice and the lodges are finished to a good standard. Executive describes them to a tee. There is a main road outside the property but wasn't a issue. There is also a water treatment plant near by but again wasn't a issue for us over the weekend. We would recommend these lodges to anyone staying in the area and will definitely be in contact in the future when visiting. Great find!
These self catering rooms are beautifully finished. From modern kitchen too fully tiled bathroom! The accommodation is very modern and no experience been spared! They also have smart TVs and blue ray DVD players, would and have recommended this place to friends! 😀

Excellent. Colleagues and I had two suites for two nights. The self-catering facilities are brilliant. Beautifully styled kitchenette and posh shower room. Bed was great. Really nice to have a big TV in the room.
