Hosts are really friendly. Kitchen and bathroom of a really high standard. Comfy bed, with a good tv and fast internet.
A good location and lodge for what we were looking for - a few days away for some rest and relaxation. Hit the spot as we were welcomed and looked after really well. The lodge is well appointed, comfortable and cosy with some really well thought through features. Definitely one to return to.
Lovely welcome on arrival, lodge was clean and of high quality. Nice touches throughout A car is necessary but overall a very positive experience.

Clean comfortable lodge in a great location
Great location to access Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, oulton broad and nearby villages. Ample parking. Comfortable self catering accommodation. Reasonably priced. Ideal for singles and couples. John and Sue are onsite and extremely helpful.

First class, had the pleasure of staying hear for the bank holiday weekend, lovely clean and well equipped room with kitchen fully kitted out, tea & milk on arrival, fresh clean bed linen and towels provided, tv & WiFi, Great place to stay with local attractions close by, great to see the truckers convoy drive by aswell, Great hosts only a call or text away also kept us updated with what was going on, highly recommend,would stay again Thank you for a very pleasant stay
Nice and friendly host and a warm welcome. Nice modern facilities, really clean and really well kept. Lots to do in the local area, even on a rainy day. Would definitely stay again if back visiting in the area.
The place was very clean and modern with good facilities. If you are a light sleeper there is some traffic noise from the main road that passes by barn owl lodge apartments. It wasn’t a problem for us but something to consider if you really don’t want any noise at night. John who greeted us on our arrival was very welcoming and showed us around the apartment. There is some nice outside space to sit and relax also. We did find the pillows on the bed a little uncomfortable but thats a difficult one to get right for everyone. We had a nice time at the barn owl lodge and would recommend it. If you are particular about your preference in pillows maybe advisable to bring your own. Overall a really nice place to stay.

Barn Owl Lodge suited us perfectly for a few days stay whilst visiting friends. It was easy to find a well placed for getting to Lowestoft, Gt Yarmouth, Oulton Broad and outlying villages. Supermarkets were just down the road Check in was easy, flexible and friendly The Lodge was clean and very well equipped. We would certainly return Thank you Barn Owl!

Excellent one bed lodge. Spotlessly clean and well appointed with appliances. Very convenient road links. Adjacent to dual carriageway that was not unduly noisy. Plenty of parking allowing sufficient room between cars to reduce the possibility of damage. Would stay again.

Sue and John were so friendly, we even spent an evening over a few drinks with them during our stay. They were soo welcoming, we had two friends visit us for the day (they did not stay over) and Sue provided us with extra cutlery, utensils etc that we needed to accommodate them too which was really nice. Overall we had a lovely visit and would wholeheartedly recommend this listing!
Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights for a little getaway and it was perfect everyone was so friendly the grounds were so nice to be in and the room was absolutely spotless and perfect we felt like it was a home away from home and wish we could of stayed longer, thank you so much for having us.

Stayed here whilst working away and had a very pleasant stay. I was working night shifts and was not disturbed whilst resting during the day. A nice place to relax in whilst away from home.
Great Stay
A lovely room, well equipped and with everything I needed for my stay. The room is very clean with great WiFi and full kitchen facilities. The bed is very comfortable and I felt at home which is just what I needed. The host made me feel very welcome and I'd definitely come back again.

Lodge room was excellent, like a very good hotel with a kitchen. Owners went to a great deal of trouble to ensure we were made to feel welcome. High quality equipment and fittings. Also care taken to ensure the little things like tea/coffee, milk and biscuits were in room on arrival. We would certainly look at staying again when in the area.

excellent property - i’ve always used hotels for business but now i’ve been converted to self catering - great host really helpfull - lovely property well fitted out all state of art fittings really really clean can say enough how good a find this is - definitely will use again
A great base for exploring the Norfolk/Suffolk coast
I had an excellent week staying in Barn Owl Lodge, and the accommodation was perfect for my needs. Comfortable, clean and very well equipped; it was also peaceful and quiet, despite being close to a major road. I was with a group who were exploring the Norfolk/Suffolk coast, and this is a perfect location for that purpose. If we return to the areas, I would have absolutely no hesitation in staying here again.

Exceptional apartment
The couple who owns it were so lovely and so helpful. The apartment had everything you could need in it, it was done to a very high standard. The bed was so comfortable.
Luxurious
The hosts were very accomodating, meeting me on arrival and showing me around the lodge and how everything works. Ample parking within the grounds. The lodge itself was very comfy, clean and modern, lovely comfortable bed and bedding. Electronic auto front door locking using key card. Smart TV and free WiFi. Modern infrared panel heating. Dimmable spotlight lighting. Kitchen was very sheek with everything one needs - fridge, kettle, milk, sugar, tea, coffee, biscuits, toaster, oven/microwave/grill, hob, very modern sink and draining board, breakfast bar, crockery etc. Cleaning items provided - dish sponge, washing up liquid, surface cleaner spray, hand wash, hand towel and tea towel. Bathroom was very modern with walk in shower, luxurious towels, heated towel rail, sensor lighting, and toiletries provided. All in all felt very luxurious.
Nice Easter break
The room was lovely and clean. Nice comfy bed. Had everything you need for a weekend away, even tea , coffee. Milk and biscuits .
Nice enough place. Clean. Friendly host. Lots of dog mess around the walkways and car drive which wasn't ideal. Very close to dual carriageway so got very noisy from early morning. Car required as it didn't seem possible to walk anywhere from property.
Perfect for what we needed
Perfect self contained unit ideal for a short break. Clean, comfortable and fully equipped. Friendly owners. Located next to the A47 for good travel access. We used it when visiting relatives who lived nearby. Highly likely to use again in similar circumstances.

We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway at the Barn Owl Lodge in Lowestoft. The cosy cottage is located just a short drive to the city centre. Lucy and her parents were a wonderful host making sure we had everything we needed. The cottage had a fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and a lovely field out back to enjoy the sunset. For a relaxing trip to the Suffolk coast, we would definitely recommend staying at Lucy's cute and convenient cottage.

Gorgeous modern lodge, spacious and very clean 🙂 The bed was really comfortable, bathroom was spotless and had everything you needed. The lodge was up to high standard. Would definitely recommend this place! Me and my partner will be coming back to stay here every other weekend to see his family 🙂 amazing !!! I have stayed at the lodges on multiple occasions, where I am always met with a warm welcome. The owners maintain high standards within the lodges and it’s grounds and are always happy to help make your stay a good one. The rooms are very clean, fresh, spacious and well equipped, with free on site parking and easy access. The photos on their website and booking sites are a true representation of the accommodation and other reviews mirror the positive experience I have whilst staying here. In summary, it is a delight to stay at the Barn Owl Lodge, which I would highly recommend. Thanks for accommodating me and I look forward to the next time I visit.

Fabulous Lodge
We liked everything at the lodge. It was all modern and spacious. It was amazing. The bed was comfortable and clean. The internet was great. I liked the kitchen which has a lots of cupboard space and the hob/oven was easy to use. The bathroom was big in size and the shower easy to use. Parking is free and spacious. There are also picnic tables and chairs to sit on outside when the weather is nice. I highly recommend this lodge for a great place to stay.
Excellent place to stay. All very modern inside. The owners are super helpful. There's is a dual carriageway quite near the lodges but that didn't bother us. We'll definitely stay at the lodge again.

Superb accommodation and very easy access. Modern, bright, private. Well laid out apartments with everything you need to cook, work or just relax. Lots of public footpaths right from the property to take advantage of the countryside when you're done working. No shops within reasonable walking distance so make sure you have everything you need before you crack the wine open.

Cracking little lodges, great hosts and location is spot on. Situated directly between Yarmouth and lowestoft. We stayed for 2 nights and would have stayed for a 3rd if they wasn't fully booked up. John and his family were really nice and the lodges are finished to a good standard. Executive describes them to a tee. There is a main road outside the property but wasn't a issue. There is also a water treatment plant near by but again wasn't a issue for us over the weekend. We would recommend these lodges to anyone staying in the area and will definitely be in contact in the future when visiting. Great find!
These self catering rooms are beautifully finished. From modern kitchen too fully tiled bathroom! The accommodation is very modern and no experience been spared! They also have smart TVs and blue ray DVD players, would and have recommended this place to friends! 😀

Barn owl lodge is a great place to stay. Very comfortable, clean and very up to date. It's not far from anything and the family will help with what they can always felt very welcome on every return visit, hopefully will be back to stay in 2016

Excellent. Colleagues and I had two suites for two nights. The self-catering facilities are brilliant. Beautifully styled kitchenette and posh shower room. Bed was great. Really nice to have a big TV in the room.
